Archipelagus operates in landscapes across northern and coastal Kenya, each anchoring a distinct conservation system built for its context.

We focus on places that are remote and operationally complex, home to Indigenous and pastoralist communities with deep local knowledge, and ecologically significant yet under-protected and underfunded. In each, we build integrated conservation systems shaped by the people and ecology of the place.
